Traveling Post: A Writer’s Pet Peeves

August 2, 2012 in Young Adult Novels

I’m up cleaning the house WE STILL OWN in IL. Ugh! So I’m just putting a link to a post I wrote yesterday for WOW! about a few pet peeves of mine as a writer. Here’s WOW!’s blog address: http://muffin.wow-womenonwriting.com. It was Wednesday’s post. Feel free to leave any pet peeves for any career here. :-)   We can support each other through them.

You can also check out Tuesday, July 31 post on this blog for a giveaway:  The Divorce Girl.

I loved, loved your post on pet peevs. I totally agree. My new mother-in-law even asked me to stop sending her my bolg…and she is family!!! I quoted you to my blog followers and jokingly said ‘send me some gold’. Then, I read another blog I follow. It quoted Ps 16:16, “How much better to get wisdom than gold.” Ouch! God puts me in my place often and reminds me who I am writing for…Him and MY growth. If He chooses to use my writing to ‘grow’ others then Yea God. It is hard to not get Kudos! But I leave it up to God!! He allows me to write. It is his words and concepts I am writing about, not mine. Glory to God!! -Erin

Best of luck in cleaning and selling your house. I completely sympathize as I’m struggling to do the same and logistics and heat are against me.
