A New Year of Blogging 2011
January 3, 2011 in Young Adult Novels
Happy New Year!
2010 was an exciting year for me–especially the end. As some of you know, I had a daughter born on 10-26-10, who spent a month in the NICU. She’s doing great, and we are adjusting and starting to get on a schedule. That’s one of my goals for the New Year–getting on a schedule. so I can play and work.
We will also be mall walking and working off the baby fat and. . .BLOGGING again.
However, at first, I am just going to blog two days a week–Mondays and Thursdays–there will be a mixture of blogs–picture books, middle grade novels, and young adult novels. All will have the three activities or discussions to go with them like I have always done. Sometimes, I will highlight a book that fits the theme of the wonderful and important book, Half the Sky, which is about empowering women around the world. Other times, I will be lucky enough to interview an educator or an author and have a book giveaway. So tune in on Mondays and Thursdays, or you can subscribe by email or RSS feed–see my sidebar. If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome. It is great for parents, teachers, children’s authors, and librarians.
I’d love to hear your goals and resolutions for 2011. Come back Thursday for a picture book entry you can use in your classroom or with your child this winter.

Nice website. I have first hand experience with NICU, so I know how difficult that must have been. (My Pushcart Story on Hubpages relates the experience) Mall walking? Why not outside in the nice brisk, cold arctic air?

Ah, the baby needs the nice, inside, warm air–(and no I’m not using her as an excuse.
