		<description>As a Jewish mom, I like to see holiday curriculum that focuses on the &quot;secular&quot; themes of the holidays such as giving to one another, spending time with family, helping the less fortunate, special foods, etc. Chanukah is a very minor holiday in Judaism. It only receives the attention it gets because it happens to fall near Christmas. Instead of trying to appease people, it would be nice to see teachers exert some creativity when it comes to the winter holidays.</description>
