I am so happy to receive The Butterfly Award from Gail Piernas-Davenport, the Riant Writer. On her blog, The Riant Writer, she is “dedicated to mirthful truth in writing and in life.” She has passed on this award for a “cool” blog to me, and I am very honored!

The Butterfly Award has a few guidelines a recipient must follow. . .
Please pass on the Butterfly per these rules:

1. Put the logo on your blog. Check!
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you. Check!
3. Award up to 10 other blogs. Check!

Here are two cool blogs for teachers:

**Teachers At Risk blog

**Literacy is Priceless: A Blog for Reading Teachers.

Here are two cool blogs for writers:

** Coffee and Critique Writers’ Group

**The Muffin: WOW!’s Women On Writing Blog

4. Add links to those blogs on yours. Check!
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blogs. Check!
